Earth Art at Kingston Lacey

As we wandered around the grounds of this stately home looking at the snowdrops, we came across a sign saying, "Earth Art".  We weren't sure what it was referring to, but soon we came across some examples.

I thought this one looked a bit like a dancing bear.

These reminded me of dancers in a ballet.

While this one could be a bird about to fly off this tree stump.

What do they remind you of?

I think you've called them right! I love it. I also have a collection like that... I keep threatening to post them, guess I should.

Thanks Sb. Look forward to seeing your post.

To me it looks as if the 'bird' has just crashed and has a pained expression on its face.
The bear is a remarkable likeness.

Suppose you're right about the vird, Bob.

Great photos Jean. I love this sort of stuff, and I think there should be more of it in our parks. Good to hear you mention the snowdrops, I've noticed quite a few lately - Spring it seems is on the way.

Thank you John. Always good to hear from you. Roll on spring.

Earth Art knock on the heart. Thank you for the sharing of these photos. They are the visual aids to open the eyes and thus sit us back in an awe towards the message of the light. Modus Vivendi respectfully bow to you

Nice photos and structures Jean. Three together remind me of a stone circle.

Thank you Tomas. They certainly enhance a garden visit and bring feelings of peace and harmony.

Thank you Marc. I like the stone circle connection.
